Fife Police are investigating the death of a two year old girl in Kelty. They were called to the house on Croftangry Road at 6.30 on Sunday night after reports of “concern for a child”.
The toddler was taken to Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Fife Police confirmed that they considered the death “suspicious” and that they were following a positive line of inquiry.
Tributes have been left at the house by neighbours and the community is said to be heartbroken.
